"Wonderful service, Rachel has great skills and empathy"

Dec 2018

"When I first came to you I was struggling with depression, postnatal depression and anxiety. I had found the transition to motherhood immensely difficult and had lost my identity, confidence and knew that I needed to seek help for myself in order to properly care for myself and family. I was also still trying to deal with past family traumas from my own upbringing and was eager to address these issues one by one and rebuild my self worth.

You made me feel at ease from the moment I entered your therapy room and I found myself able to be completely open with you (and me). You helped me work through everything with patience and compassion, and helped me see different perspectives and identify strengths where I saw only weaknesses. Where I was my harshest critic I am now my own advocate and friend. The difference that your counselling has made is enormous - thank you so much for all you have done for me and for all you do for others."

'Before having counselling with Rachel I wasn’t aware there were skills and techniques that you could use to combat anxiety and help ease mental health.

Rachel helped me to learn and both implement these into my everyday or for the moments when I needed them.
I was nervous because I had never received counselling before and didn’t know what to expect but Rachel made it a safe, non-judgmental space where we could talk about anything as big or as little as I felt I needed. Thanks so much Rachel!'
