About Jenny
Jenny Lyons has completed and passed her Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy
which she studied at Interpsyche, Dartford. Jenny is a highly qualified specialist whom, I believe adds so much to Amadea Counselling & Psychotherapy. Jenny is a registered member of the BACP.
Jenny has agreed to join me as a Director of the new Community Interest Company we are in the process of setting up. It is very exciting...watch this space!
"I have just completed my final year of training as an Integrative Counsellor / Psychotherapist at the Interpsyche Training Institute in Dartford and I am passionate about what I do. My training is NHS based and to the British association of Counselling and Psychotherapy standard. Prior education includes a degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Health Psychology.
My integrative training draws on different theoretical approaches, however, I would describe my approach as humanistic integrative, which relies upon the importance of the relationship between the counsellor and client to enable mind, body, feeling, and soul to come together as a whole. I believe at the centre of this is the relationship we have with ourselves, and the world around us.
I am a warm, friendly, empathetic and understanding person and can offer a safe, friendly, supportive and confidential space where you have time to share your difficulties and concerns."
